Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter or upload is sent to a server.

How resizing works

  • Aspect-ratio lock — when it's on, changing the width updates the height automatically (and vice-versa) so the image keeps its proportions and never looks squashed.
  • Output format — JPG and WebP images are saved in the same format; other types are saved as PNG.
  • Exact pixels — the width and height you enter are the exact dimensions of the downloaded file.

Frequently asked questions

Will resizing distort my image?

Not while “Lock aspect ratio” is on — the two dimensions stay in proportion. Turn it off only if you deliberately want to stretch the image to specific dimensions.

Can I enlarge a small image?

Yes, but enlarging can't add detail that isn't there, so upscaled images may look soft or blocky. Shrinking generally keeps images looking crisp.

What format is the resized file?

It preserves JPG or WebP inputs in the same format; anything else is saved as a PNG. The pixel dimensions are added to the filename so you can tell versions apart.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser. Your files never leave your device.
